So I'm getting all four of my wisdom teeth out soon. I've seen all these videos of kids tripping balls, saying crazy stuff afterwards (i.e. david after dentist and others). I'm afraid of the effect this drug (whatever it is) will have on me. I don't want to say anything i shouldn't around my mom. I have a weird mind, and there are some things that i don't want to be talking about around her. I am 16, and weigh about 155 lbs. How strong will the effects of the drug be on me?

ReplyDeletei think you should be fine and wont say anything really. you will probably be more tired than anything.
arnie g - Just a heads up,you may not want them to give you a drug called Versed
ReplyDeleteIn fact, many people who use Versed for "conscious sedation" during a procedure are awake for the entire procedure but remember nothing, often believing they were "out" the whole time.
Versed (Midazolam) is an amnestic. It is commonly administered in combination with anesthesia before and during surgery. It is also commonly used for minor procedures like colonoscopies dental procedures like extractions, conscience sedation, twilight sleep, so that patients won't remember pain and discomfort.HOWEVER THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT THOSE SENSATIONS WILL NOT BE EXPERIENCED!!!!Forgetting does no mean it did not happen!!
