I moved up in gauge size, size 8g tapers at first they only went in half way but then one taper eased in on my right ear and i finally got the other in on my left earlobe, that was on wednesday i began to have slight pain and discomfort down the left side of my neck more specifically by my earlobe and behind, i also had pain in my jaw area and down, i went to sleep and i thought itd be gone, i checked my tapers this morning on a friday and my left earlobe was swollen and hard not rock hard it did have some give but it was hard, i took my tapers out and there was blood at first now its just leaking yellowish clear stuff, on the other hand my right earlobe is swollen but not as much as the left lobe it hasn't been leaking as much as my left lobe either but it is also kinda hard it did bleed at first wen i took out my tapers but its my left lobe that im really worried about, it is swollen several times more than my right is, its red and worrying me, can anyone help or tell me what this is and what to do, should i go to the doctor?!?!?!???? havei blown out or torn my ears or have i broken a blodd vessel?????!!!??!?Monday, December 12, 2011

Glasses - "leaking yellowish clear stuff"... that would be an infection.
ReplyDeleteBleeding indicates some tearing, but it doesn't mean you ripped your ear apart. Trust me, if you torn you ears or broken a blood vessel, you'd know.
Clean out your ears and gauges really good, consider investing in the antibacterial soap they sell at piercing shops. Go down a size and leave it in longer this time.
