hg - A low diastolic or a low systolic are both not normal. You should go see your doctor about your low diastolic. Have you been monitoring your blood pressure on a regular basis and if so how long have you had this low diastopic blood pressue?
happydawg - You have a normal blood pressure. 118/54 is a normal variant. If you go to the doctor for this, they're going to wonder what you are doing there.
Right now, I'm 118/54. The mean values are around 120/80.
