Confused About Tongue?

396545381 so i just brushed my teeth and i stretched out my tounge completely and i can see these huge abnormal bumps! its scary and im wondering if its some kind of bacteria, i always brush my teeth when i wake up and go to sleep..the thing is tho,, there in a perfect v formation for some wierd reason. Is this normal or is it a problem?

  1. Arthur - If it is in the back of your tongue it is completely normal. They're called circumvallate papillae.

  2. Hank Miller - Its most likely ur taste buds dude.... People tounges arent smooth there bumpie cause ur taste buds and ur different sections of taste on it.

  4. Sandy - Those are circumvallate papillae and everyone has them, in that classic V-formation. Check out the picture below, does that look like what you have?
