  1. Jon - In a sense no,
but you can have too much of one thing, and not enough of another. (Too much vitamin D and not enough calcium for example)

Your best bet, is too eat lots of fruits, and veggies with as large a variety as possible. Super foods like gogi berries and Quinoa will help make sure your body is getting everything it needs to stay healthy!

  2. Max - Well if it's a no, than that means that most people are over nourished in America.

Most people in America are over nourished in America. That's why we see fat slobs walking by all the time. People say America doesn't get enough nutrients. We already do get enough nutrients, and that's why we are over nourished. In fact, we are over nourished to the point that its toxic.

If America was malnourished, people would be really really thin. That isn't the case then, is it?

  3. Round 2 - Yes, particularly when you have an overabundance of one or more nutrients and a deficient one. Let's say you eat a normal diet but have the habit of consuming raw eggs Rocky style. The avidin in uncooked eggs binds B12 and can cause a deficiency if this happens over the course of several years. Another example is Kwashiorkor, where a person consumes enough calories but is deficient in protein. There are many additional examples, but suffice to say that yes, it is possible to be overnourished and undernourished at the same time.
