Can I Go On A Diet Of 1500 Calories A Day If I Am Pregnant?

396545382 Hey. I just found out that i am pregnant now, for the third time. and i am frustrated. I still have another 20 pounds to loose from my last pregnancy. I just feel like now that i'm pregnant again, my body is totally ruined now. I guess, i'm going to have to just try to keep the weight i gain with this baby to a minimum. of course, i want a healthy baby, and i don't wanna starve myself. but i'm asking i guess, is would be a 1500-1800 calorie a day diet be safe during pregnancy. just eating healthy, and cutting out all the junk food. could i possibly loose some unwanted weight/fat. or is it impossible to loose weight when your pregnant.? I'm frustrated. i'm not a bad mom. I want to give my baby enough nutrition. but i'm very self conscious of my body, and i want to try not gaining so much weight with this pregnancy. my last two pregnancies, i gained a horrible horrible lot of weight, talking between 50-70 pounds. my goal is to only gain 25 or so. what do you think?

Allan - when pregnant a women is suppose to eat 400 calories more than what they normally eat so if you normally eat. i cant say how much without the proper information such as weight height and other things but what ever your healthy calorie intake is normally needs to be increased by 400 calories
