  1. clapper - I've had AF for 50 years nearly and I understand that you want to be sure your not going to die but you also need to get on with your life. Just about everyone has a thump thump thump going on in there lives with monotonous regularity. They get one bum-pity bump and die you didn't.The heart muscle is a wonderful thing and it works better at keeping you alive and happy than anything else. If your still around at 50 you may get an operation to fix up whats going on but its never as good as what you have now.
That's why they don't just whip you in. The tests you have had mean they have an understanding of whats going on in your heart but at 25 you have 25 years with what you have before intervention to save your life is worth while. I was told by a Cardiac Specialist when I was 22 that "I needed to be mindful of my problem and don't waste your life working have lots of holidays". I did till I was 35 then I had a family now I work 1/2 time. I'm still going at 58 I had my mitral valve replaced at 49.

  2. Supermodelmommy - Most of the time they are harmless but if they keep happening you need to let your doctor know. I understand that you have a panic disorder but the doctor needs to rule out any other underlying cause that could be causing your problem before pinning it on the anxiety that you have.
