John W - A mammogram is an x-ray and there shouldn't be any problem with that. An x-ray is sort've like a very strong light that shines through most things and indeed x-rays were just film exposed to this light, these days they're more like digital cameras. An MRI would be a concern though, metals tend to get moved by magnets, that's probably where your fears are from.
i have had a valve replacement and had a metal valve put into my heart. Is it safe to get a mammogram?
