  2. zia hasnain - Vitamins and minerals are substances that are found in foods we eat. Your body needs them to work properly, so you grow and develop just like you should. When it comes to vitamins, each one has a special role to play. For example:

Vitamin D in milk helps your bones.
Vitamin A in carrots helps you see at night.
Vitamin C in oranges helps your body heal if you get a cut.
B vitamins in leafy green vegetables help your body make protein and energy.
The main function of Vitamin E in the body is to aid the transport and effective use of oxygen in the bloodstream.

  3. Jordan Phillips - VITAMIN A- Beta carotine (antioxidant, important for eye function) B VITAMINS- there are 12 (healthy hair, skin, nails, important for energy production, immune support) VITAMIN C- Ascorbic acid (healthy skin, antioxidant, immune support, may help prevent acne and other skin conditions) VITAMIN D- "The sunshine vitamin" (comes from the sun) ergocalciferol (Immune support, colon, breast, and bone health, and helps in the absorption of calcium)
VITAMIN E- Alpha tocopherol (Eye function, antioxidant, immune support, cardiovascular health) You're forgetting vitamin K btw... VITAMIN K- , another sunshine vitamin, but we can also get it from food naturally, while vitamin D is usually supplemented into foods. (Bone density, blood clotting, may help absorb calcium)

B vitamins are water soluble, Vitamin D is fat soluble, which means that Vitamin D is stored in fat until needed, B vitamins are almost impossible to overdose on because our body disposes of anything it doesn't need. Vitamin E isn't studied nearly enough, so nobody is really sure of the benefits, and the vitamins may also have other benefits that are being researched, or people are completely unaware of.
