Signs Of Fatigue/ Exhaustion? Advice Please?

396545384 Today i felt unbelievably hungry which was understandable because i havent been eating a lot of physical food rather but drinking protein shkaes that have like 23 grams protein. Yesterday, i had a cheese quesadilla, some hummus pretzels, a banana, and finished my quesdailla, with a protein drink, went to bed. I woke up today and ate two pieces of taost spread with thickhummus ancd one egg, then i ate two very small pieces of sashimi salmon, and a little bit of rice, lo mein and some bites of a chiense donut. I have now swollen tonsils, and cant eat much because i ahve a tonsil stone. However, i figure my body is fighting infection and is low on energy sources as well as vitamin C perhaps.

So a few hours after i ate the chinese maybe an hour and 30 minutes i had these urges of diarrhea symptoms i passed stools i think 3 times in an hour and a half and i was so hungry, like starving, there was a point i was feeling like i was going to pass out so i started eating pizza. I ate two pieces of cheese pizza from dominoes i had as leftover. This was around 7 pm, and now i have been eating straight for about 3 hours and i noticed that 30 minutes after i ate i felt better and was calmer. I took a shower to calm my body down, i guess i was going through a panic attck, i felt extremely hungry and extremely tired, i am thinking dehydration and fatigue.

I was sotired i couild barely eat and so hungry i coudlt think of going to sleep, i am still eating and i am starting to feel better and i think i am going to be okay. I think the problem may have been i hadnt had enough ''physical' food' in my stomach as opposed to drinking liquid protein drinks that were meal replacements.

  1. syl c. - You clearly have blood sugar imbalances, going from some moderate highs to lows. The hunger, panic attack, fatigue, etc. is hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).

You need to visit your doctor and get a glucose intolerance test done. Share your symptoms with your doctor. I suggest the one that shows your glucose levels at 4 intervals 2-3 hours apart. You may be higher in the morning and then going low daytime. Eating unrefined foods, lean protein, and more veggies than starches are really important for you right now. Eating 5-6 small meals/snacks should be your pattern. Drink plenty of water. Try to exercise even walking 3X a week for 30 min will help stabilize glucose levels. Add more protein but a different type not what you are eating now. Beans have a good source of plant protein and fibers that stick with you longer and break down into sugar (as all food eventually does) in your blood stream more slowly. This is a good thing, as you won't get a low blood sugar nearly as quickly. Try to avoid candy, juices, etc. are all turned into blood sugar very fast; they don't stick with you. I know this is very hard but try to do it slowly eating less and less carbs everyday. You could also be eating MSG that is an additive contained in some chinese foods and this is very bad for you and makes you very tired.

You will see how better you feel following these tips. Think of these simple sugars as very short term fuel. Eating correctly will help you straighten this out. Its not the amount but what you are eating that is causing your problems. You could also ask your doctor about a dietitian who can help set up some menu plans suited for your individual needs.

    Hope this helps.
