However there is little risk at much higher levels. The OSHA PEL is 0.1 fibers/cc over 8 hours which is a small cloud of exposure, which only asbestos workers or fools ever see. Just touching asbestos is on the risk level of getting struck by lightning 2 or 3 times in a life. There is no risk.
