Lifestyle and diet are two of the most influential factors why a person develops palpitation. As such, it is imperative to make the needed changes in order to prevent palpitations.
People with anxiety disorders also need to take into consideration dietary regiments that will help them cope up with their illness. This diet regimen will allow an individual to recover faster from his ailment and protect oneself from further complications that may arise:

To calm anxiety eating natural foods and restricting intake of processed items is required. Increasing water intake and avoiding drink which is high in sugar content is beneficial. Poached eggs, baked potatoes, brown rice can be included in the diet of anxiety person. Vitamin B1, B3 or niacin and thiamine help in energy production and mood enhancement.

Eating diet rich in fiber helps to relieve stress which in turn increases learning ability by improving memory power. Best time for fiber intake is in the morning. To minimize anxiousness, beneficial herbs are fennel tea, skullcap and catnip tea as they promote soothing and calming effect on the body.
