my son often has tonsillitis, sensitive throat...what could be the reason? He has allergic reactions to amoxicillin, clarithromycin, cefaclor. Rashes appear on first 10ml intake. What should I do to lessen and heal the allergy fast? It is very itchy..Thank you so much for answers...
Duke Fan! - I don't think that you can completely get rid of your sons allergies. All you can do is suppress them. If your son is under age 5, he will most likely grow out of his allergies before that age. As for the tonsillitis, did you know that each year, about 1 in 10 people go to see their doctor because of repeated sore throats, and more than 1 in 10 people have repeated bouts of tonsillitis at some point in their life?
ReplyDeleteFrom http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Tonsillitis/Pages/Questionstoask.aspx :
If your child starts to get frequent and severe bouts of tonsillitis (at least five infections over the space of a year), or if tonsillitis is starting to affect their normal life, such as preventing them from going to school, your GP may suggest they have their tonsils taken out. Similarly, if their tonsillitis is contributing to ear infections or difficulty in breathing or swallowing, you may also be advised to think about your child having the operation.
There is a lot more information about tonsillitis on the website I listed.
