I live in PA, and just within the last month my allergies have been awful. One day towards the end of July it seemed like I just woke up with horrible allergies. I'm talkin horrible sinus pressure that makes me dizzy and gives me headaches, can't breathe thru my nose, pressure behind my eyes. Finally took a Advil Cold & Sinus today and it
helped quite a bit. But am I the only one who's allergies just all of a sudden went from okay to awful almost overnight? Anyone like this out there???
Margo Roth - my allergies start very quickly. you were probably exposed to something before or while you were asleep. it could be from and open window or ac or even a fan blowing dust. if the allergies seem worse when you wake up then you shoould take allergie medicine before you go to bed.
ReplyDeletelou - Allergy's are a very tricky thing. First make sure your not just sick. If you are certain it is allergy's try to pin Point a change. The obvious is check your local area for what comes into bloom the week it all started. ie. crabgrass, ragweed ETC. Did you start using a new detergent or cosmetics ? How about food, anything new ? Also wash your sheets in hot water and check your A/C filter. You should write things down and keep a log, trust me it will help. If you have medical you should go to an allergist and get a skin allergy test it could save you lots of time and aggravation. I find taking an anti-histamine works wonders for me. I like beneydryl (it don't make me tired) but it might knock you out. It does work great. I also take 20mg pepsid 2x a day. The combination of the two meds make a very effective anti-histamine. Best of luck, Lou
