H - The bottom number is beyond low (normal diastolic is between 60 and 80).....talk to your doctor please. Who knows...this could be normal for you. I would think that at 41, you'd be having some symptoms.
Ms. Della Alexis - It's low most Doctors I'v talked to don't want your BP to be under 20 points from 120/80 to 100/60 any less or more & they worry some.
I have low BP too, sometimes I faint & I can get dizzy if I stand up to fast, also after a hot shower & when my skin is flush, but other then that it's my normal...My BP is normally high 80's/low 90's over 40-something, so just about the same as yours, my temperature also runs low 95/97F...it's a sign of a low metabolism.
It's something your Doctor should know as it can be a sign of some medical problems but it can also just be genetics.
But with a BP as low as ours we do stand a good chance of fainting during blood work ect. Also if you ever go in for surgery let the anesthesiologist know, we go under easier & come out harder them most people.
I would just bring it up to your Doc. they should know your health history well enough to know what to tell you.
