Continue to eat low carb foods, exercise as the doctor advised, then put the baby in stroller and go for a walk! Walking helps all sorts of things, and pushing the stroller is adding some resistance to your walk. Daily and as fast as you can for an hour!!
Kelly S - It can take 6 to 12 weeks for your sugar to return to normal after delivery, it all depends on the person. Your doctor will probably check it at your 6 week check. Congratulations and good luck!

ReplyDeleteBut it's something to flag up because in general, most women become much more insulin sensitive after delivering the baby.
