Would Painting Part Of My Earphones In Clear Nail Polish For Allergies Reduce Sound Quality?

396545383 I use a pair of skull candy earphones and I listen to music with them A LOT. But I'm allergic to this metal ring on them, which always touches my "rejection" (the part/stub of the ear that sticks out next to the sideburn) and it gets red and itchy. Any idea if painting this thin ring with nail polish would reduce sound quality? Thanks.

  1. -Lyssa-Llewyn-Cullen- - I think it would only reduce the sound quality if you painted on a sensitive part of the headphones, like over the speakers or something that would get messed up if it got wet. Otherwise, I don't see this as causing any problems. Just unplug them before you do it.

If you want to do your ears a favour you might wana concider just buying some other earphones for example plastic ones or ones that cover all of your ear.
