Laura - Not that I've seen in the US; state dental insurance plans don't cover asthetic work. The only thing you could do is see if the dentist would have a reason to submit othodontic work to insurance for any reason besides just asthetic reasons. Still, I doubt that would work.
Baked beans - If you live in the uk, switch to NHS and they are free :)
