it obviously releases radiation, everything which transfer energy does, the question is if it is ionizing.

  1. Mads - No.
Mobile phones use electromagnetic radiation in the microwave range. Other digital wireless systems, such as data communication networks, produce similar radiation.

  2. Ken G - I understand all radio frequency energy is ionizing radiation to some extent.

The question is whether it is powerful enough to damage human tissue. I doubt it.

  3. april - It's non ionizing radiation and studies have shown within a few minutes of use, it causes your brain cells to become "excited" and over a period of time, with the years of using a cell phone, your brain cells may change and become cancerous.
