c - if you have red spots on your skin and feeling itchy or notice swelling then it sounds like you're having an allergic reaction, i suggest taking some benadryl if you got any, if not go to the ER, if you notice that you're having trouble breathing then call 911 for an ambulance
SSP Bowl Dude - It's not an allergic reaction. It is not dangerous. It is called niacin flush. It's common if you take too much niacin or aren't used to taking it or if you take it on an empty stomach. It will go away in about 20-30 minutes.
Jade - Call your doctor, Yahoo answers isn't the best source for immediate advice

ReplyDeleteDoctor - You are having a normal niacin flush. It will take its own course and within 3-4 hours the symptoms will begin diminishing
