Fat Burning Exercises For The Gym?

396545382 Since college started and I haven't had time to go to the gym, I've begun to notice myself gaining a few pounds and putting on some fat. What are some fat burning exercises I can do at the gym? And what are some (nutritionally sound) diets that work?

Ps: I'm willing to go to the gym. I dont need the easy way out, or fad diets... I want to do this the right way.

:) thanks.

I started recently and it has worked great :) The harder it is to do, the more it works is the way I've always looked at it. Swimming is very tiring, but it works so many muscles that it's well worth it.

  2. neal8123 - If your dining halls have the options, I'd look into the ketogenic diet. It's where you train your body to get energy from ketones that bind with fat instead of carbs. It takes a few days to adjust to and there are a few nuances that would take me too long to explain here, but it's really great for fat loss. Variations exist for those who want to gain weight (muscle) as well. I'll cite a great site to show you the scientific backing, instructions, etc at the end.

There are a bunch of ways to get fit, but if you're really willing to see results without having to worry about whether or not what you're doing is right, I definitely recommend streaming/downloading/buying the P90X videos. Great program, nice for people who like to be told what to do.

If you don't want to do P90x, then I'll just give you a tip for the gym: squats. Squats squats squats squats. Don't neglect your legs when working out, trust me, there are a ton of underworked muscles there, so when you work those out, you open the floodgates to the testosterone you want to get results.
