Why Do My Scrapes Burn In The Sun?

396545389 if i get a little cut or scrape and go out in the sun it begins to burn and doesn't heal at all. i've learned if i keep it covered and out of the sun it heals perfectly... whats wrong with my skin?
ive tried googling it and nothing comes up...

  1. OMG - It's a rare skin condition known as erythrocitis. When the ultraviolet rays make contact with your wound, there is a chemical reaction that takes place. This reaction interferes with the body's ability to heal itself. The "quick fix" is to keep it covered and out of direct ultraviolet exposure. The next time you go to the doctor, you may want to mention it. Doctors are able to prescribe medication that will give your body the compounds that it needs to prevent the chemical reaction in the sunlight. And, while it's a rare condition, it can be passed down genetically. It isn't terribly harmful though, just a bit inconvenient.
