  2. itzy - FACEBOOK the worst thing on the internet--if someone invented a cure they would not be so stupid as to use a petty internet site, they would write reports and after much research they would submit their findings to medical foundation or university certainly not Facebook.

  3. Super Vampire - If it's on Facebook, it most likely doesn't work

  4. JLI - To know if a specific treatment is of actual benefit to a cancer patient, it needs to be systematically tested on cancer patients. That is the purpose of randomised controlled trials.

Cancer cure testimonials are simply not good enough. Here is a website explaining what can be wrong with them:http://www.users.on.net/~pmoran/cancer/how_to_read_a_testimonial.htm

If you want an example of a convincing cancer cure testimonial that falls apart on analysis there is one for you here: http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AtW5DAveXHTJ256QxYPTRpMhBgx.;_ylv=3?qid=20111011172148AAULNas

If a person claims on Facebook or anywhere else on the internet, that he has invented a cure for cancer, that person is to be avoided. Chances are that he is a bookseller, or trying to make easy money by exploiting peoples fear of cancer and the treatment of it.

On the internet there are many claims of miraculous "natural" cancer cures that are being suppressed. Here some of them are listed, with links to sites explaining what is wrong with them: http://anaximperator.wordpress.com/2011/02/25/suppressed-by-scientists-and-big-pharma-the-hidden-cancer-cure-but-which-one/

Cancer is a collective term for approximately 200 different diseases. Every cell type in your body can (in principle) develop into its own type of cancer. And the cells within each individual cancer are different too. So it is not all that surprising that we don't have a single cure for all cancers.
