Is It Possible To Burn A Pound Off In Three Days?

396545382 I have been on a diet for about 8 months now, slow and progressive lol

But I was wondering if I eat right, exercise right and not cheat can I burn a pound in three days??
@Cross Stitch Kelly good for you keep it up :)
And I was just wondering because over the past eight months I have lost four stones, I just wanted to see if I could notch it up a bit

  1. Iliketomakeitrain - Think of boot camp and then think of not eating the entire day. You'll be in shape so quickly.

  2. Kristen Wissing - It could be possible. The average amount a weight a person should lose in a week is about 1-2 lbs. so if 2 lbs. is possible to lose in a week then 3 days should be a reasonable amount of time for 1 lb.

  4. Hollie everns - You may not like this but too loose a pound in 3 days is unnatural! Yes it is possible but won't be very good for you.

  5. cross-stitch kelly - Certainly. Our doctor put us on what we referred to as "Dr. Lovall's kick-a@@ diet," and in the first two weeks I lost 7 pounds and my husband lost 11. We were on it for 6 months, and I've lost 59 pounds. It's a nasty one, though:

    8 oz. lean meat,
all the celery, lettuce, carrots, and broccoli you can eat
8 8 oz. glasses of water (OK to include Crystal Light)
2 Tums twice daily (for calcium)
2 Centrum vitamins daily (morning and evening)
2 Colace daily (morning and evening)

Tea, Coffee, and diet soda (but they don't count as your liquids)

You stay on this for 3 weeks, then add mushrooms, zucchini, and a few other non-starch vegetables. By the end of the 6 months, we were up to also having 8 oz. of milk, and all the sugar free Jello we wanted. We are now on the diabetic diet to maintain through the holidays, then we'll go back to it to lose the rest (we're both aiming for 100 pounds).

  6. Lola - you need to burn 3500 more calories than you eat to burn one pound so in 3 days youd need to burn 1167 more calories than you eat a day, its not as hard as people think if you exercise its so easy :) good luck
