Any suggestions are welcome.

  6. Noid(ea) - Dunno...... maybe kill some time mulling over the fact that most Phillip Morris shareholders don't smoke and laugh at the losers who still do, given all the medical facts that have been shoved in our collective faces over the decades. Please, wipe the smile off their faces and the value off their sharemarket dollar. Evil bastards.

  7. Sharon - Contact your state public health department. They should have lots of suggestions and info on stopping smoking. If you are serious, see your doctor. There are medications they can prescribe if your habit has become overbearing. What I did, is challenge myself to see how many more minutes I could go without a cigarette. Willpower..of course I'm kinda of a control freak where my behavior is concerned. Chew gum or get some sugar free lollipops. Don't go to your regular break locations, read, drink water, take a walk instead of hanging around your old smoking station.

    Hope this helps.

  8. Paige - Stopping smoking is a pretty simple thing to do... in principle. Maybe because of it sounding so easy it catches people off guard and ultimately makes it much more difficult to quit.

The best thing to do when you are looking to stop smoking is to find out what options you have, and then decide which sounds best for you.

Here's a website that lists the different things that are out there to help you stop smoking.
