i have been experiencing sharp pains that feel like something is pushing on my heart for maybe about three months now. the pain comes and goes often. some days the pain is an all day thing. also, when i stand up for a while, i get really bad pain in my shoulders and in my back, making it more difficult to breathe. my mom made a doctors appointment for me this week. but i'd like to know what to expect. this doctor is a doctor that my mom has been with for years, and i've came to him before about my pain. i really don't like having him for a doctor, because he doesn't listen. i know something is wrong with me, and i know he isn't gonna do much. so can someone please give me detail to what this might be??
Kahr H - First of all at just fifteen years of age it is extremely unlikely that your pains are heart related.
ReplyDeleteSecondly, usually with heart related pain the experience is more one of a deep, crushing, squeezing pain.
From what you have described i would say it is more likely anxiety related or you are experiencing upset stomach/gas.. as these can cause such symptoms.
However don't take advise from a stranger off the internet, go and get checked out if you are concerned.
