Well I'm a stick so I feel like a p*ssy when I go to 24 hour fitness and I'm over here lifting 20 lb dumbbells while some guy next to me is pumping 100...It really does make you feel weak as hell and just want to quit. :/ I can hardly even bench press and I feel pathetic. Anyone I know that goes to planet fitness is a girl so do any guys go there? I just want to go there to start off and be able to actually bench and then I'll just stick to lifting at home. I'm not looking to be ripped, just enough so that I don't look like a 6'1 girl :D
Yaa easy for you to say. Try being 6'1 and 130 lbs. ;D
Althea Anderson - Yes. although Nobody cares what you are doing at the gym they are busy doing their own thing. So stop worring about it.
ReplyDeleteLatasha - I see a whole bunch of men at PF over here. Skinny, fat, short tall, build.
ReplyDeleteChester - PF is great. There is basically a "no meathead" rule. No grunting, no showing off, no clanking weights. There are all kinds of people in PF. I've seen 300+lb people in there walking on the treadmill in jeans and a button up. Every fitness level is welcomed and embraced.
ReplyDeleteHere are a few hilarious ads put out by planet fitness accentuating my "no meathead" point.
