I'd go because u never know what could happen just calmly go to ur car and call a nearby relative so they know where u are going and they can meet u there so if something happens they know where u are and where u are going in case something happens. Go now tho. :)
Ray B - You should seek treatment because this type of thing can seem to be getting better and then suddenly flare up. Worst case, your tongue will swell and you won't be able to breathe.
Have you any other symptoms like increased heart-rate, short of breath, headache, dizziness swollen lips, hives. All are signs of an anaphylactic reaction and need immediate treatment.
Elzee - Do not mess around with a peanut allergy. It can kill you. If you feel that you cannot breathe, go immediately to the emergency room or call 911. You need to be evaluated by an allergist IMMEDIATELY. You could have a reaction to other types of nuts and soy products as well (peanut is a legume and so is soy).
Peanut/legume/tree nut allergy can get worse over time. So today maybe it only makes your mouth itch, but tomorrow it could kill you. I am not kidding. This is a very real problem that you need to get on top of.
My daughters are allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, and other legumes like soy. They carry Epi-pens and wear Medic Alert bracelets.They do not eat any type of nuts or legumes, and do not eat any products that "may contain" them or "are made on the same equipment" as them.
When you get some time, check out peanutallergy.com and its message board for more information.
Anyway, I cannot underscore enough how SERIOUS this is. Please get evaluated by an allergist!
