(one) Losartan Hctz 50-12.5 Mg Vs (two) Daily Diovan Hct 160-12.5 Mg?

396545385 doctor changed my perscription and I have higher bp and excellerated heart rate

    Let your GP know about the increased BP.

    I think you ought to have yourself reviewed by your consultant, as most of the times abrupt change of medication/s causes such episodes. Keeping your age in view, I will suggest a review. Only your prescribing doctor can give you a better suggestion/ sort out the problem.Diovan HCT (valsartan and hydrochlorothiazide, USP) is indicated for the treatment of hypertension.
    Diovan HCT may be used in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled on monotherapy.
