  1. micksmixxx - I'm presuming that you had intended asking a question about this, but what is it?

Has your doctor offered any treatment?

    Edit:

It's a shame that some people are to stupid to be able to differentiate between a question and a statement.

  3. syl c. - A number of health problems are associated with high testosterone, including Cushing's syndrome, polycystic ovary syndrome and congenital adrenal hyperplasia. High testosterone in women can lead to insulin resistance, a situation in which the body's ability to handle sugars is compromised. On the positive side, a woman's libido may increase due to the high levels of testosterone.

High testosterone levels can negatively affect fertility. Women trying to conceive should get their testosterone levels checked. Check with your physician about any complications that may be involved with these high levels. Also, you may want to check with an endocrinologist who specializes in these type of complications.

    Hope this helps.

  4. matador 89 - Susan y,
Abnormally high levels of testosterone in woman can cause a variety of problematic and embarrassing symptoms which include:- Increased Hair Growth in various areas over the body. Male Pattern Baldness, known as androgenic alopecia. Deepening of the Voice. Change in Body Shape, for example - muscle mass increases, body fat is redistributed and, in rare cases, enlargement of the clitoris occurs. Skin Problems. Mood changes. Health Risks, which may include insulin resistance. Three levels of approaches can be considered for treating testosterone imbalance. These are categorized as: (1) Lifestyle Changes, (2) Alternative Medicine and (3) HRT. Whilst making lifestyle changes will help alleviate many symptoms, they do not address the problem directly at the hormonal source and so further treatment may be necessary. Alternative medicine has proven to be excellent for treating testosterone imbalance in a safe and natural way. Alternative approaches involve little to no risk and can be an extremely effective way to treat testosterone imbalance. Interventions at the third level involve the highest risk and often the highest costs. The most common drug therapy for treating testosterone imbalance (in the US) is testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). This may be a quick and strong way to combat testosterone imbalance but, unfortunately, it entails serious side effects and increases the risk of different types of cancer among women. I will add a link with some details below, but you would be advised to discuss this with your doctor/ Endocrinologist to find out details that apply in your particular case.
