These seizures have increased yearly. Instead if getting better its getting worse. None of the Doctors we have worked with seems to know whats going on. There was an VNS System placed in his chest but it hasn't really helped. At first it seemed to work, but now not really. He has been diagnosed to have Petit Mal, Grand mal, and absence seizures. He has had an MRI, CAT scan, EEG, and many other tests. Now we are at the end of options. There has got to be some Doctors that could help us and our little boy. Daniel - Where are you located? I have a degree in brain research/neurosurgery. Is he on antiseizure meds?
ReplyDeleteI am surprised the EEG didnt see anything. It makes little sense, and then the MRI showed nothing? Is he diabetic? Did they test for that? Where are you living, Somalia?

ReplyDeletei have seizures and went from dr to dr for 21yrs and no one could find the problem. i went to "epilepsy and brain mapping program", they gave me the same test the other drs gave and found my problem in 5 days (damage on left cerebral-left side of brain) and gave me brain surgery 3 months later. due to the brain surgery i went from up to 7 a day to 12 in 11yrs.
