I Have Had Two Lung Cancer Biopsies?

396545116 Had 2 biopsies, with inconclusive results, surgeon wants to operate to investigate further. Blood levels slightly raised but inconclusive also. Should I have operation just to find out what kind of tumour I have?

  1. formerly_bob - You have two options at this point: monitor things and see what happens or have the surgery. There's advantages and disadvantages to either approach. With surgery, you run the risk of an unnecessary procedure. If you wait, you run the risk of letting a potential problem become more advanced.

If i were in your situation, i would opt for the surgery if there are no more than a few tumors and the surgeon is able to remove ALL of the tumors.

If the tumors are too numerous to remove them all, then the decision gets a little trickier. In this case, it would be good to find out from the surgeon the likelihood that surgery will actually provide additional information. If there is high level of certainty that the results will be conclusive, surgery would probably be the safest approach.

If surgery might not provide the answers, then monitoring might be the best choice unless it looks like the tumors could be a type that cause a risk without any obvious change in appearance. You could ask the surgeon this question.

  2. Hoodwinked - Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Before you do anything please buy this book at Amazon.co.uk
"Why were all dying to know the truth" by Philip Day.
It will shock you and make you angry and educate you about cancer and how to deal with it.
At least read it before you make a decision, I garauntee if you read it yoiu will be running from your doctor.

Unfortunately like thousands before you, you are been lied to and experimented on by doctors who do not know what they are doing.

There are many cancers cures and preventitive options out there but the medical establishment and mainstream media keep them from you because cancer treatment is big business £££££ and a slow kill weapon.

Doctors admit they do not know what causes cancer and cannot cure it, yet people put their lives into these doctors hands.....madness. They then take poison toxic treatments to make the cancer worse where it eats away at the immune system or take unessasary surgery which may have complications.

The government cancer survival rates from chemotherapy are a lie, because when people survive cancer the first time they are put on the survival list, but inevitably the cancer returns a few years later and kills the patient, yet they remain on the cancer survival rate even though they have died!
This false figures gives people false hope and encourages them to take the toxic treatment.

The reason cancer returns is because doctors do not address the cause, they only manage the cancer with damaging treatments.
