Lucy - As a fellow acne sufferer, I have looked around a lot and can recommend some things to you.
1. Proactive: this either totally clears up your face or makes it worse. It's up to you to decide if you want to take this risk :)
2. Exposed: this is a more natural skincare line and some people say it works really great. I haven't tried it yet, personally.
3. Zenmed: another more natural, gentle acne treatment kit that gets great reviews
4. Differin: you need a prescription for this from your dermatologist, but it works really great for some people (all of these things don't work for some people, of course)
5. Benzoyl peroxide: lots of acne treatments have varying amounts of benzoyl peroxide in them, and it has been scientifically proven to help acne.
If you want a quick fix for an especially bad pimple, here are some at-home spot treatments you can try (just dab it directly onto that nasty ol' zit!): apple cider vinegar, toothpaste, calamine lotion, lemon juice, green tea.....
