I got braces on yesterday, and i got traditional ones, i have 5 gaps in my top front teeth and 3 gaps in my bottom teeth, i also have one tooth thats completely backward, which is gonna take the longest part, so how long do u think it'll take? (is there any chance i can get them off in half a year)
Endless - it usually takes from 1-2 years..it is unlikely that you will take them off in half a year.
ReplyDeletehowever, there is a type of surgery called coricotomy that can speed up the treatment, it is making grooves in the bone between the teeth with a drill so teeth can move faster, ask your orthodontist about it, and see what he would recommend..
Ibrahim - hi . please go now doctor`s . and tel your problem . i hope , solve your problem so easy pro says.
ReplyDelete--sdb ♥ - I would ask your orthodontist because they will probably know how long your treatment will last.
ReplyDeleteI require my braces for 2 years with rubberbands. I just got them yesterday.
Most people need them for 1-2 years, sometimes even 3-4!
I've never known anyone that has gotten theirs off in half a year. :/
Sorry! But just follow all your orthodontist's instructions on hygiene and it won't take as long to get them off :)
Hope I helped!
