Help Im Overweight 6"1 Teenager Weighing 208 Pounds?

396545382 im 15 6"1 208 pounds and i dont look fat from the front or the back but from the side i look fat im fairly active i never feel out of breath allthough im not a fast runner i can run on end for hours i tend to pace for hours i usually spend 3 hours a day but whrn i cant sleep its the whole night with small xbox sessions i dont know what to do

Emily - This is a fairly quick routine to lose stomach fat, which is what it sounds like you need, DO 3 REPS OF THE FOLLOWING: 50 crunches 20 squat jumps 1 minute plank 2 minute wall sit 30 side crunches, each side 20 roll- back- and- jumps 20 v- ups 150 calf raises; 90 regular, 30 right leg, 30 left leg

  2. Helper Monkey - 208 at 6'1" isn't bad. Sounds like your diet is the culprit. Avoid soda's and junk food during your xbox all-nighter's and you should be good.

    If you want to workout a little more, look into pilates,yoga, or something that will strengthen your core muscles. That should help burn off a little of your excess storage.

OMG - Regular exercise (walks, runs, biking, etc.), a healthy diet with low sugar, salt, and dairy intake, and drinking lots of water (80 - 100oz or 10+ glasses) are steps you can take to maintain a healthy weight & appearance. Over time, combine the cardio exercise with weight lifting to retain muscle mass while losing fatty tissue.

    ---By the way, there's no such thing as spot reduction. Doing crunches will not directly attack the fat in the stomach area. It builds muscle and burns calories, but your body burns fat from all over, not just in the area doing the work.

  4. ? - Over 6ft and only 208lbs I wouldn't call 'overweight' if you had a bit of muscle on you...
